The Environmental Fund for Maryland and its member organizations need volunteers to support our important programs. By becoming a “Friend of EFM”, you can help us to increase public awareness about EFM and our member groups and help to improve Maryland’s environment. Volunteer Your Time

Environmental Fund for Maryland and its member organizations depend on volunteer support from the community. Without it, many of our important programs would not exist.

You can :
Promote Environmental Fund for Maryland during your workplace’s charity campaign season by hanging posters, distributing brochures, or talking to your co-workers about the importance of supporting our environment. (See our current list of workplace campaigns under About EFM.)

Volunteer at EFM’s office or for any of our member organizations.

Provide pro-bono legal, marketing, public relations or graphic design/printing services.

Give by Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction is the easiest way to support the environmental charities of your choice. If your employer has an annual giving campaign that allows you to give through your paycheck in small increments throughout the year, supporting Maryland's environment is easy. You can choose to contribute directly to one or more group(s) or the gift can be divided equally by all of our member organizations.

To find out if your employer has an environmental option, contact your campaign coordinator or human resources department and check our list of participating campaigns.

If your employer does not offer an environmental option in its campaign, you can make a direct contribution made payable to the Environmental Fund for Maryland. Please tell us how you would like the funds distributed.
