Celebrate Dinovember by discovering the dinosaurs living right in your backyard! Join us at Edelman Fossil Park & Museum for an interactive introduction to birdwatching and citizen science. Learn how everyday observations can help scientists study and protect bird populations through Project FeederWatch with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Start with an engaging presentation about birdwatching and citizen science opportunities, including helpful apps like Merlin Bird ID and iNaturalist. Then, head outside to the front garden to observe local birds and help record valuable data on winter bird populations.

Perfect for families and curious nature lovers of all ages, this program is a fun, hands-on way to connect with science, conservation, and the incredible connection between birds and their dinosaur ancestors!
