We’re celebrating all things ocean this month at Edelman Fossil Park and Museum. Join us for Citizen Science Sunday to play FathomVerse, a phone app game that lets you contribute to real ocean science. Explore new-to-science photos of ocean creatures and help identify and explore the vast biodiversity our seas have to offer!

EFM BioBlitz

Saturday & Sunday, September 19-20th

Get outside and become a citizen scientist during EFM Bioblitz 2026! Join us September 19–20 for a free, family-friendly weekend of guided nature walks, species spotting, and hands-on opportunities to document the plants, animals, and other organisms found throughout the museum grounds. Meet local conservation organizations, learn how you can get involved in citizen science, and help us catalog the incredible biodiversity right here at EFM.
