Step away from your notifications and into a calming, analog atmosphere at EFM UnPlugged; an after-hours museum experience designed for adults (18+) who want to unplug, unwind, and reconnect… with fossils, not Wi-Fi.

On Wednesday, October 2, from 5:30–8:30 PM, the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum transforms into a cozy, screen-free haven. All digital displays and sounds will be turned off, allowing you to enjoy the exhibits in a warm, peaceful glow. Bring a chair, a book, your sketchpad, yarn, or a game-loving friend—and enjoy the museum your way.

What to Bring:

-Your favorite book, sketchpad, or knitting project (dry media only)

-A friend, or enjoy solo time

🎨 What to Expect

🛋️ Quiet, Cozy Galleries Wander through softly lit halls where you can sit, sketch, or read in peace. No screens, no sound—just you, the fossils, and your thoughts.

🎲 Tabletop Game Lounge (Downstairs) Play classic analog games, solve puzzles, or join a friendly group of card players. Color-coded table signs will let you know where there's room to join.

🎨 Creative Corners Draw, doodle, or stitch the night away with inspiration from our local artist partners and a rotating slideshow of community art in the lobby.

🎶 Acoustic Vibes Enjoy the gentle sounds of live acoustic guitar by Soph in the front lobby—just the right soundtrack for a serene night out.
