Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University Sweepstakes
Official Rules
Eligibility: The Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to (i) individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and (ii) who are legal residents of the United States or Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories and possessions in which the Sweepstakes is not otherwise void by applicable federal or state law.
NO PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN THE SWEEPSTAKES. Any purchase will not increase the odds of winning.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Sponsors: Rowan Attraction Inc., a New Jersey non-profit corporation located at 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, NJ 08028 (“REA”), and The Laurie Berkner Band located at #39801 615 Chestnut St, #39801
Philadelphia PA 19106, United States.
Agreement to Official Rules: By submitting an entry in the Sweepstakes, each entrant (each an “Entrant” and collectively “Entrants”) agrees to his/her full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, (i) these Official Rules and (ii) REA’s decisions, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
Entry Period: The Sweepstakes will begin on June 1, 2025 at 9:00 AM EST and will end June 2, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on June 2, 2025.
How to Enter: During the Entry Period, Entrants can submit an entry by doing all of the following:
1.Following @EFM and @LaurieBerknerBand on Instagram;
2.Tagging 2 friends in the comments on @EFM’s Instagram; and
3.Commenting the Entrant’s favorite dinosaur on @EFM’s Instagram.
Entrants may submit more than one comment of the Entrant’s favorite dinosaur and tagged friends on @EFM’s Instagram (each a “Comment”), and each Comment constitutes one entry to win the Prize (defined below).
-By entering the Sweepstakes, the Entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that he/she meets all the requirements under these Official Rules.
-The Comment must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of REA, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
-All comments and posts on the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum’s Instagram account, including but not limited to Comments, shall be the property of REA.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.
Winner Selection: On June 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, REA will choose, in REA’s sole discretion, two Entrants to win the Prize. The winners will be contacted directly via direct message by REA through the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum’s Instagram account.
Notification and Requirements of Sweepstakes Winners: An individual is not deemed a winner unless and until he/she has complied with these Official Rules. If a potential winner does not respond and comply with the instructions in the notification within three (3) days after REA, through Edelman Fossil Park & Museum’s Instagram, sends the direct message to such winner or is not in compliance with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit the Prize and REA may select an alternate potential winner.
Except where prohibited by law, a potential winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (“Affidavit/Release”). If a potential winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release within the required time period, an alternate winner will be selected in his/her place. By participating, each winner, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for REA and/or and its designees to announce his/her name on the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum Website, social media channels and any other communication channel it deems, as a winner and to use his/her name, and/or likeness and prize information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval.
Prizes: Two prizes (collectively, the “Prizes” and each a “Prize”) each comprised of (i) a cuddly berknersaurus stuffed animal, (ii) the “We Are The Dinosaurs” book, (iii) a light-up tambourine and (iv) a dinosaur sticker will be awarded to two winners in accordance with these Official Rules. The Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. The Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded. All Prize details will be determined by REA in its sole discretion. The approximate retail value of each Prize is $61.48. REA reserves the right to award an alternate prize of equal or greater value than as stated. The Prize is not transferable and has no cash value. All taxes are the responsibility of the winners.
General Conditions: REA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) in the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way in the sole and absolute discretion of REA. REA reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner and void all associated entries. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, REA reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys’ fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by REA to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless each Sponsor and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors, trustees, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of a Prize. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries, registration, votes or messages; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, or registrations, the announcement of the Prizes, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes. Entrant agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost, if any, of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees or other legal costs. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
Disputes: This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state of New Jersey without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions.
