- At Quarry Grounds, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the foundation of everything we do. From sourcing the highest-quality beans to ensuring that every step of our roasting process leaves a minimal environmental footprint, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact. 
- 1. Sourcing Ethically-Grown Beans 
- We work directly with small-scale farmers around the world who practice organic farming, ensuring that the beans we use are not only top-notch in flavor but also grown in a way that respects the land and supports local communities. Many of our beans come from farms that implement fair-trade practices, so when you sip on your favorite brew, you know you’re supporting both the farmers and the planet.

- Our state-of-the-art roasting equipment is designed to minimize energy consumption while maximizing flavor. We roast in small batches to ensure that every cup of coffee has the optimal flavor profile. In addition, we recycle all our coffee chaff (the outer husk of the bean) by turning it into compost or using it in local gardening projects. It’s just one more way we close the loop and reduce waste.

- We’re committed to reducing food waste by partnering with TooGoodToGo, an app that lets us sell our leftover food at a highly discounted rate directly to consumers. 
- Waste-Free Beverage Options 
- We encourage customers to bring their own reusable cups. For those who need a disposable cup, we provide 100% compostable options that break down naturally. We’ve also moved to compostable straws and eliminated single-use plastics wherever possible.

- Chef Frank
- Quarry Grounds Manager, Frank Christy, is excited for you to experience our house-roasted coffee and locally sourced snacks and treats. When he’s not roasting coffee at the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum, you can find him watching Jurassic Park for the millionth time, playing "Raptors" with his children at home, or spending time with his wife of 11 years, Kelsey. FUN FACT: Frank used to be an award-winning cake decorator, spending much of his career working with the Cake Boss at Carlo's Bakery. If you can think it, Frank can turn it into an amazing looking cake that also tastes out of this world!
