The Quarry Dig is a 60-minute guided field trip (approx. 45 minutes of digging) where students can uncover 65+ million-year-old fossils such as clam shells, fish vertebrae, shark teeth, and crocodile remnants, and take home three fossils.
Requirements & Pricing: Everyone entering the quarry needs a ticket (children 2 and under are free with a paying adult). Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. Time slots are available at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00, accommodating up to 50 participants per slot. Larger groups must reserve multiple slots.
Preparation: Wear closed-toe shoes, clothes that can get dirty, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.
