  3. 🌕🧘‍♀️ EVENING FULL MOON YOGA (Monday, October 6)

  4. Join us on Monday, October 6, at 7:00 PM for Evening Full Moon Yoga, a rejuvenating outdoor class set beneath the glow of the full moon. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Edelman Fossil Park, you’ll flow through mindful movements led by certified instructors from Seeds of Love Yoga, a local nonprofit dedicated to accessible wellness. This all-levels class invites you to stretch, breathe, and set intentions under the night sky, where ancient fossils meet present-moment calm.


  5. Please note: this event is held outdoors and does not include museum admission. Bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water, and an open heart.

  7. 🍳 RISE & ROAR: BREAKFAST & FOSSIL DIG (Sunday, October 12)


  8. Join us on Sunday, October 12, from 8-10 AM for a special Breakfast & Fossil Dig. Start your morning with a hot breakfast buffet, then head into the quarry for orientation, fossil digging, and expert ID help. This all-ages outdoor event includes plenty of hands-on discovery, with up to three fossils to take home. Tickets are limited and museum admission is not included.

  10. 🦴 EFM PM: FAMILY NIGHT (Thursday, October 17)

  11. Join us Friday, October 17 (5:30–8:30 PM) for Family Night at the Fossil Park featuring an outdoor screening of The Flintstones (1994)! 🦴 Your ticket includes a special Quarry Dig Experience where you can uncover and take home your very own fossil. Plus, enjoy pumpkin painting, fall crafts, games, café specials, and more. 🎃🍿 Don’t forget your chair or blanket for cozy movie watching on the Veranda - tickets required, free for members!

  14. Find your flow at Yoga at Edelman Fossil Park & Museum, where ancient history meets mindful movement. Guided by certified instructors from Seeds of Love Yoga, this all-levels class blends poses for flexibility, strength, and relaxation with mindfulness practices to start your week with clarity. Surrounded by fossils and natural beauty, you’ll deepen your connection to both yourself and the land’s rich history. Please bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water, and an open heart.

  16. 🍿BAD SCIENCE CINEMA (Friday, October 24)

  17. Experience EFM after dark at Bad Science Cinema, a night of hilariously awful science on Friday, October 24. Enjoy full museum access from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, hands-on activities, and a screening of Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf with live expert commentary in true Mystery Science Theater 3000 style. The screening starts at 7:30pm. This 18+ event is ticketed and requires registration.

  19. 🎨 ART AT THE PARK: PLEIN AIR (Saturday, October 25)

  20. Join us on Saturday, October 25, at 10:00 AM for a family-friendly Plein Air Painting Day at Edelman Fossil Park & Museum, presented with the South Jersey Artist Collective. Explore the park’s gardens, quarry views, and rolling hillsides while capturing the landscape on canvas. Professional plein air artists will offer live demonstrations, and visitors of all ages can watch artworks come to life or try their own hand with supplies provided on-site. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or brand-new, this event is a joyful way to connect with art, nature, and history.

  22. 🎃 HALLOWEEN COSTUME FUN! (October 26-31)

  23. Celebrate Halloween at Edelman Fossil Park & Museum from October 26 through October 31. Guests are invited to wear their best costume and receive a free treat during their visit, with a chance to be featured on our socials. Join us for a frightfully fun time surrounded by fossils millions of years older than any ghost story. Please note: no masks or face coverings, no weapons, school dress code applies, and costumes must be appropriate.

  25. 🌿 EFM OUTSIDE: ECOTRAIL ADVENTURE

  26. Join us for an Ecotrail Adventure on Sundays (October 5, 12, 19, and 26) at 9:00 AM. Explore Edelman Fossil Park & Museum’s nature trails on a guided walk with our expert VEX guides. Along the way, you’ll discover habitats, identify local wildlife, and learn why even the smallest waterways matter. Be prepared for moderate hills, wear comfortable shoes, and bring water. Open to all ages, with ticketed adults required for guests under 16.
